Good Leadership Qualities

For any team, group, or organization to be successful, it has to have competent leadership. With a good leader at the helm, a team is already assured of at least half the victory. REDFOX highlights a number of qualities a leader must possess:

1. Strong people skills - A leader must be aware of each member's strengths and weaknesses. He should maximize whatever strength a member has and improve any weaknesses.
2. Cool - When the pressure mounts, a leader should not panic and should calmly think of a solution to the problem.
3. Responsible - Being a leader is no joke. It requires a lot of responsibilities like setting meetings, organizing team-building sessions, and supervising every member's tasks.
4. Passionate - A leader should always keep that passion burning within him. By doing so, the other members will be further motivated to perform at their very best.
5. Hardworking - A leader who does very little or no work is not a leader at all.
6. Patient - Any task that is rushed has a huge chance of coming out mediocre. A leader must be patient enough to allow members to produce awesome output.
7. Open-minded - A team's success isn't entirely dependent on a leader. Other members should also chip in whatever it is they have to share, and a leader should be open to any of these ideas.
